HIZ NOTES Privacy Policy

Welcome to use HIZ NOTES (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"). We understand the importance of personal information to you and will strictly protect your privacy. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App to understand how we collect, use, store and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

In your use of HIZ NOTES, we adhere to the concept of "local first, user control", to minimize the collection of user data. The details are as follows:

1. Data stored locally

We do not actively upload or access any content you create in the App. All notes, tasks, drafts, etc. that you enter are saved locally on your device, unless you back them up with OS level features such as iCloud, Google Cloud Sync.

2. Log information (for stability analysis only)

To improve product quality and debug application crashes, we may collect the following information when an error occurs:

Application version number;

Operating system version (e.g. Android 14 / iOS 17);

Device model (e.g. iPhone 13, Pixel 7);

Error crash log stack information.

Instructions:

The log does not contain any note content, identity information, contact information, or geographic location information;

We do not use this information for any marketing purposes.

2. How do we use information

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Optimize application performance and user experience;

Analyze the causes of system crashes and fix them;

Adapt to different devices and operating system versions;

Provide users with the necessary version update prompts or compatibility notifications.

We do not use it for the following purposes:

Targeted advertising;

Behavioral analysis or profiling;

Sell or share with third parties.

3. Data storage and security

We attach great importance to the security and privacy of your data and take multiple measures to ensure that your information is not leaked:

1. Locally encrypted storage

HIZ NOTES supports system-level encrypted storage, such as Android Keystore and iOS Data Protection, to protect the local confidentiality of note content.

2. No remote server uploads

We do not have a server, nor do we transfer your notes or any personal content remotely. The data is completely controlled by the user.

3. Your Rights

As a user, you have the following rights:

Access: All your notes can be viewed at any time;

Right to modify and delete: You can edit or delete notes without platform operation;

Data export right: We support users to export the content by copying, backup and other forms;

Right to refuse synchronization: If the device system prompts cloud synchronization, you have the right to choose to turn off related functions;

Right to uninstall: You can uninstall the app at any time, and the app will automatically clear relevant local data.

5. Data retention time

Local data: It is stored only on the user's device, and the retention time is determined by the user.

Log data: If collected, it will only be used for error analysis and will normally be automatically cleared within 30 days.

6. Protection of minors

The App does not provide services to minors under the age of 14 and does not intentionally collect personal information from any minors. If you are a minor, please use the App with a guardian.

7. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as required by business development or law. After the policy is updated, we will remind you to check and confirm in a prominent position within the app. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
